Let the small stuff be spotted.--- Wew! This is the tagline of this page.

Have you ever gone to mall's foodcourt? Have you try any stalls there?

Let me site this one.

familiar??

Ordered their Pares served with big cup of fried rice and pancit.

• did not expect so much for this well,
• exceeded my expectation
• worthy for the price and budget friendly
• literally not bad for Filipino food lovers.
• a bit sweet that complements
• love the free soup
• too much carbs because of the pancit. HAHAHA
• you can share
• big serving, literally!
• one of the recommended stall in foodcourt
• no regrets
• also, try their Beef Tapsilog

WHERE IS PINOY TOPPINGS

Majority of SM Malls Foodcourt have sign board "Pinoy toppings" at the top.

your 150 php is more than enough for the taste, serving and drinks.

Before I appreciate Pinoy Toppings I first judged it as not worth for money choice based on my first and bad experience way back in college.
It's funny but it is worth to have a second chance, after 5 years.

PINOY TOPPINGS!

I want to be honest with you guys, sometimes I am super excited to try and share restaurants, beverages desserts with big names and brands already that I forgot the small fast foods and small restos that offer much affordable and sometimes much good foods. I will continue doing that but will make sure that majority are affordable and fits with the budget.

SHAW BOULEVARD BRANCH - THE 24 HRS PARES + SIOMAI BEST FRIENDS

few blocks away from my friends place found this pares house.
tried their specialty combo, buttered and friend chicken, special pancit.

• very affordable
• unli-rice. big servings
• either pares or siomai or BOTH!!! yipppieee
• garlic rice then white rice.
• thumbs up for the soup
• I do not like the idea of mixing the siomai pares together. hmmm it wasn't quite good, but
• pares + rice = ok; siomai + rice = ok. stick to best friends not lovers (:P).

• Best with the taste, a must try!
• my favorite!
• rich and true BUTTERED chicken for me. i've tried many versions of buttered chicken and some of them limit the butter. that makes the dishes deficient.
especially the wing and thigh part which are my favorite parts of the chicken.
• BEST deal for the price and servings.
good for 3-4 people.

• this is actually my 2nd to my favorite.
• I have to admit even if its obvious that I am a fan of fried and chickens. hahaha
cooked crispy.
• the looks and smell was so attracting.
• the sauce also blends to the chicken meat.
• a typical friend chicken in a chinese place
• good for 3-4 people.

not really fan of pansit
also it has liver, I only take liver when in spread or in sauces.
• but their pancit is sulit (worthy).
veggies, meat, and so many ingredients for this little order. not bad.
• i prefer rice than pancit actually.
to unbias review I asked my friend to taste it and she loved it. it's preference always.
• as per her,  sweet and delicious as it is.

I don't know what was the occasion why we ordered that tons of food. I personally admit that I judged them for the serving of food but WOAHHHH! hahaha

I was able to take out some pansit and buttered chicken for my team mates.

BUCKY's COUNTER - LOSE FROM SWEETNESS

After my Ramen Kuroda foodtrip in BF Homes we tried here.

Ordered Bucky's n Cream, Softserve Cone and Latte to blend for balance the sweetness of 2.

 literally SWEETNESS OVERLOAD
Soft serve cone
Bucky's and Cream on the side

• super sweet
• really for desserts and sweet lovers.
• a bit of saltiness
• i love dairy products and i love the vanilla ice cream.
• mixing the little brownies for me over the sweetness. it is not kind of good idea.
• I really can't accept its sweetness alone, best to drink with espresso.
• Cone is freshly made.

The Instagramable Latte
• Mr. perfect to balance it all
• I love it
• simple presentation.
• serving was just ok just in a glass but that's enough

• service was good. that time only 1 person who assisted the customers. and make the cone. :)
• per desserts can be done by 2-3 person not because of size but because of sweet intake.
• Whenever I look in this photo I still crave.
• place is not for oldies who hates stairs.
• peaceful place
• clean and cute place's theme
• good place for long talk. I think.

Something unique and so worthy to try.

first time seeing this in Better Living, the Korean-Mexican fusion.
with my reaction of "huh?"

Let's try though.

with my friends we tried had our dinner here.

in all fairness, it was all worth it. money saver that you can recommend to neighbors.
the tastes are acceptable and nothing to worry.

ordered their bibimbap; the mixed Korean-Mexican justified.

Must try their bibimbap ang nachos, serving is not bad for the price. (y)

✓place : along Doña Soledad, in front of Petron

✓budget : 100 - 150 php

From the store name will surely classify them as not "the traditional" restos we see mostly in Better Living but acceptable in taste and budget.

KOMORO DINING - MY NEW AFFORDABLE OPTION

It is already my habit to spot the newest restaurant of the mall then find the most affordable and delicious offer I can get.

I ordered their komoro don spicy pork yakiniku - spicy taste pork

• compare to Yoshinoya, better in price.
• saucy and sweet!
• still, recommended! must TRY!
• I love the blend of cabbage and the sweetness of sauce and meat.
• I love the lil taste of spiciness.

katsu donpork cutlet with egg - thick chicken cut

• better than komoro don (hihihih)
• additional P 16.00 and all good
• chicken are tender every cut
• not dry
• the onion.... they make it not hard to eat. :))

overall reviews:

• Clean place
• don't expect too much for rice, even they are Japanese inspired they do not use Japanese rice.
• the place was comfortably good and nice
• food compensate the staffs which are not that accommodating and approachable.

WHERE CAN YOU FIND KOMORO DINING

nearest landmarks are uncle Tetsu, Chatime, Project Pie, SM Supermarket, BonChon.

KOMORO DINING
located at UG/F SM Megamall, Building A.

Komoro don spicy pork yakiniku - 99.00
katsu donpork cutlet with egg - 115.00

Walking inside SM Megamall is not a new routine for me.

Yes, it is a big mall but most of the time instead of waiting for someone I meet I consume time walking and window shop inside alone :) .

It is tiring sometimes but waiting and doing nothing is much brain draining for me.

There is a good side of it, aside from you exercise, you get updated on the stalls and establishments inside, I am now your walking guide ^_^.

Anyway, the purpose of this post is to introduce my new option when in SM Megamall aside from the known fast foods like Mcdonalds, KFC, BonChon that will fit to your budget.

for 150.00 pesos budget you might want to consider KOMORO, a Japanese inspired restaurant.

What I ordered are the must be tried and recommended, since this is new we will explore the taste of other next time.

it is worth a second time though.
